Coca-Cola Tanzania has today launched a consumer promotion that will enable Coca-Cola consumers to win brand new Boda Bodas and cash prizes of up to Tshs1m. Other cash prizes are Tshs500,000, Tshs100,000, Tshs50,000, Tshs20,000, 10,000, 5,000 and free drinks.

The two-month promotion dubbed Amsha Maisha Yako na Coca-Cola creates yet another unique platform for the beverage company to interact closely with its customers and consumers throughout the country.

“The promotion we are launching here today will certainly transform the lives of some lucky Tanzanians who will get the opportunity to win the stated prizes, especially the Boda Bodas which have in recent years become a source of employment to thousands of Tanzanians using them in rendering transport service to the community”, said Coca-Cola Tanzania Brand Manager, Maurice Njowoka.

Over the years Coca-Cola has always believed in empowering the community in which it operates through such kind of rewarding promotions and “Amsha Maisha Yako na Coca-Cola is aimed to achieve the same purpose”. Last year, hundreds of Tanzanians benefitted from a similar Coca-Cola promotion named “Vuta Mkwanja na Coca-Cola” in which lucky consumers became instant millionaires through this Coca-Cola initiative.

In this year’s campaign, winners will be obtained through drinking 300ml and 350ml return glass bottles of Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite. “The mechanics is simple: drink Coke, Fanta or Sprite and look under the crown to reveal your prize instantly, to win a Bodaboda one will need to collect three crowns i.e. making his own Bodaboda by collecting a front wheel, back wheel and the engine”, says Njowoka.

While winners of free sodas will be able to claim their drinks at the same sales points, winners of Boda Bodas and the cash prizes will be allowed to collect their prizes after presenting their crowns at designated redemption centers along with their identity cards. Employees of the Coca-Cola, its agents and other companies involved are not allowed to enter into this contest.

Njowoka has asked Coca-Cola consumers and the general public to participate in this life transforming promotion and stand a chance to raise sustainable daily income if one wins Bodaboda or cash, courtesy of the beverage company.

He underlined The Coca-Cola Company’s commitment to continue producing and supplying only the best quality beverages.
